Few people get a blank check for their ideas. Luckily, we live in a world where Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad, seems to have gotten one. Pluribus, is his latest and greatest show and it’s out on Apple TV.

Like many others recs of ours, this one is best not to give too much away. So just very lightly, it follows a miserable romantasy novelist after something, quite… unusual and unfortunate happens to planet earth. It’s a bit of a what’s happening here, as much as it is a compelling character study. If you’re tired of watching shows about a murder and want something fresh, this is the one for you.
